The Meanz have emerged from the ashes of Toronto’s dying alternative and electronic music scenes. Their sound is a defiant slap in the face to a stagnant Canadian recording industry. Refusing to have their songs pumped through the major label sh*t machine, The Meanz have set themselves apart as a uniquely energetic squad that moves audiences with their own distinct brand of Triptronic Rock. Each of them draws from a huge array of influences that they as a unit, have weaved together into a fluid and addictive form. Audiences who appreciate Rock, House, Dub, Ska, Jungle, Industrial, New Wave, and TripHop find each of these elements at work at their live shows.
