I'm not interested in cover bands. Original music only. I'm financially secure and able to do music full time. I'm only looking for creatively ambitious projects, that is also time well spent with nice people.

I'm happy to support your music if I like your music, and you treat me like a collaborator. I'll serve the song, and ideally we'll agree on how to do that. But if you're picky about someone playing parts you or your producer already wrote, then we probably are not a fit.

If you're interested in co-production collaboration on my music, that's cool too. I use a lot of orchestral instruments in my music, and I'm always interested in someone who can solo on expressive instruments. Reach out if you play those kind of things.

Influences

I care a lot about lyrics. Gord Downie, Aimee Mann are favourites - writers who approach common situations and make them poetic. I don't generally write romantic or angry topics.

Genre-wise, I'm open minded but my strengths are guitar and vocal based. But I love getting a little weird...so Radiohead, Regina Specktor, Andrew Bird, Conor Oberst, Fiona Apple are all aspirational targets. But also these days, I'm really leaning into happier music and more orchestral arrangements.
