I'm Jason Pilling, who is an accomplished musician. I'm also a full time musician now so I have lots of energy to put into interesting projects with nice people. For this specific purpose
(drumming!), I'm fine to be casual, but if it gets serious I can also be as committed as the project - no day job constraints. Look up Jason Pilling on any streaming platform for my solo work. I want to join a band as a drummer, which is not my primary instrument, but I want to learn drums and play with people - for the love of live and just playing together. I do have taste, and will serve the song without ego. Depending on the circumstance I can also sing BGV's while drumming. So if it's a right fit, I'm a bargain at twice the price because I've got A LOT to offer besides just drumming. I'm only interested in folk/blues/pop type genre's where my drum skills fit. I'm not going to play big fills...but I'll be creative while keeping a beat. Also, I'm not interested in lyrics that are angry...sad is OK...but I'm more of a positive vibes person.

EQUIPMENT
I have acoustic drums at home and a space to record and rehearse for acoustic style duo or trios. The space is too small for a larger band, but I live close to Lynx and Rehearsal Factory on Geary.
