Band to Join, Lead Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Trombone.ABOUT
Experienced drummer with competent BG and lead vocal experience available for light work, mostly on select weeknights and weekends. I'm also a pretty good bass player, can hack out rhythm guitar when needed and can work a synthesizer like I know what I'm doing (OK, I know what I'm doing but I don't play piano!)

Influences
I grew up across the border from Detroit, influenced heavily by urban radio, electro, soul, funk - Prince, Lionel Ritchie, then fell in love with Bonham's drumming in Led Zeppelin. Expanded into all kinds of other stuff like fusion jazz (Jaco/Weather Report/Mahavishnu/Miles) and bop (Sonny Rollins/Roland Kirk) and then back to classic rock (Steely Dan/The Kinks/The Cars/The Police/Beach Boys) and loved the stuff that was contemporary when I was in high school (REM, The The, Pavement, Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, Fishbone, Duran Duran) and then electronica, mainly dub though (King Tubby/Scientist/Agustus Pablo/Gregory Isaacs/Barrington Levy) with stops in jam band land (Grateful Dead/Phish/Ween) and other stuff like Guided By Voices, Pinback, did I mention Ween? Mr. Bungle, Kyuss and so much more ... yes, I have eclectic taste

Subway Platform Blues
Subway Platform Blues Track number: 1 Year: 2026 Album: Fufftie Genre: Alternative
My newest stuff - this song started out as just an extended drum track to hear what my new basement setup sounded like ... I wanted to hear it with bass and guitar and then I just kept adding to it ... the lyrics are not final and neither is the arrangement but I like how it sounds and it's a good showcase of where I'm at currently with my playing and singing. All instruments and vocals were done by me in my new basement studio in February 2026

Away
Away Year: 2009 Album: Cucumber Slumlord Genre: Rock
This one is from a fun band I was in with my long-time bandmate and old friend Chris (guitar) who wrote this one. We recruited our friend Mike, a gifted musician to play bass and I'm on drums. Chris hated his vocals so I tried it out and even though I'm not a huge fan of the performance, everyone says they sound great ... OK!
