ABOUT

I am a guitarist, vocalist, and DJ, and I have played in a few bands over the years, DJ'd, and played solo acoustic. Team player, good communicator, outdoors type etc. Back after a five-year break. I have a home recording studio, and I am working on learning pino these days.

Danceable music is where it’s at, bars, parties and corporate. People want to have fun, drink and dance. Make the bar money, and you will get invited back. Appealing to corporate and weddings, you will make good money.

Looking at two projects:
-Acoustic duo/trio (singer, drums and bass)
-Full band as lead guitarist and backing vocals (Prefer female lead)

It could be two bands or one; I'm not sure - will see how the cards play out :)

Influences

Many, wide range of Rock, Alternative, R&B, Country...I like variety, but i think the 70s/80s/90s were the best for variety. Keith Urban, STP, The Police, The Cure, Chic, Tears for Fears, Boston, Collective Soul, Pearl Jam, Blue Rodeo, Journey, Howard Jones, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, John Mellencamp, Tom Cochrane, Bryan Adams, Matchbox 20, Semisonic, Goo Goo Dolls, Tom Petty... the list goes on and on. For DJ I cover everything R&B / Soul is probably my favorite genre.

EQUIPMENT

I buy (invest in) good equipment...guitars, keys, amps, pedals, Mic's etc. My go-to Acoustic is a Taylor 314, Roland Phantom 06, Yamaha MDX M6and my go-to Electrics is Duesenberg Mike Campbell and or Wolfgang into a MESA Lonestar Special - very versatile or 5150iii Combo. Pedals I use mostly Volume and noise gate but also have a TalkBox, Delay, Chorus, Compressor, Wah and EQ. Also have a multi for venues with great sound or when mobile.
