Not pretending to be or want pro. My involvement in music has mostly been through media, writing, promotion and never been in a band formally but have been on stage a number of times and comfortable with it and pretty good at it. I just love music and singing makes me happy. I have a rich, versatile voice, suited to roots-style music - country, Celtic, rock, blues-rock and even some heavier music. Just can't do screaming. Love doing covers but no aversion to originals and can lend a hand on lyrics. Can also play a few chords or so on guitar (but not much more).

Influences
Influences are super wide - soft to very hard. But in terms of above styles I am best at, I am drawn to roots, singer/songwriter artists like Steve Earle, Blue Rodeo/Jim Cuddy, Caamp, Eagles, Mellencamp, Pogues, Zac Brown, Allman Bros., Billy Joel, outlaws like Cash, Jennings, new outlaws like Jamey Johnson and some Classic rock. But will have a go at anything I like.
