The West Hotel
The West Hotel Year: 2016 Album: A Difficult Berth Genre: Rock
Back in the late 1980s I was learning to play and sing, and pretty much the only places I could play were bars with less then stellar reputations. Although this song is about my experiences at The West Hotel in Thunder Bay, Ontario, I think we ALL have experienced a West Hotel in our lives. And I wouldn't have traded playing there for the world!
Aesa Droele (Raw)
Aesa Droele (Raw)A raw, demo version of a song about a battle between good and evil. Written in 1 hour 27 minutes and recorded in 2 1/2-ish hours as part of a songwriting challenge or "Skirmish" for FAWM 2017. Check it out - it's pretty intense so far! The hardest part of the challenge/Skirmish was that I had to use the following words "aftermath allies barbaric battle-lord beginning blood clans delania drive ebonfyre emboldened family great homelands mountain power powerful royal strong swords thinking troops unbidden unopposed wealthy witch-queen" Wow, right? :) fawm.org

Cigar Club - The Muleholes
Cigar Club - The MuleholesIn 1987 The Muleholes were the biggest band in the world: Rolling Stone hailed them as “the best live act of all time!” And as the curtain rose on the most anticipated show of their career Tragedy struck: We woke up… Cigar Club is the 90 second, garage pop, sonic assault that shot The Muleholes to international fame seemingly overnight …even if it was all only in our heads…
