I'm just one guy looking to start a band for fun, but if it leads to actually sounding good and getting gigs etc. I wouldn't mind at all. I play a little guitar, but I definitely wouldn't consider myself good enough to play live yet, I mostly use it to write songs. I'm a decent enough singer I think, at least for the kind of music I'd want to play. I'd sing lead or backup if an awesome singer ends up being part of the band.
I'm definitely in no rush. I'd like to end up with a very unique, original band. I don't have a concrete idea of what I want it to sound like yet, just check out the influences. Collaborative songwriting a must! Most instruments completely welcome, if you play it and it sounds good, it sounds good! Saxophone, flute, sitar, fawndola, anything goes.
