ABOUT

September Flame formed in 2011 with the goal of recreating foot tapping 'feel-good' music for small events and pubs. We specialize in acoustic rock, modern country/folk and pop which we recreate to suit our style. Smooth vocal harmonies, solid instrumentation and smiles and giggles onstage sums up what we do!
We are a trio and have no plans to add a drummer... we like the quieter, intimate feel and not needing a large stage.
We do like to be creative with our arrangements and try to fit songs to our signature style rather than always blindly copying the originals (which of course isn't possible without drums). We are open to playing with tracks to some songs, and are experimenting with it.

Members Of Band

Don plays bass and sings. He has about 40 years of performing experience in various bands with a steady focus on the country side of things--the Eagles and Alabama are his major influences. He rocks his flame-red Rickenbacker while singing with his smooth tenor voice. Though he plays bass for September Flame, he has been known to rock out on drums as well.

Lisa sings and plays keyboards and percussion. She has been rocking out on stage from a young age playing various instruments from guitar to bass to keys (and she plays a mean tambourine!). Her thwarted childhood dream was to be a go-go dancer, so you will observe her shaking more than the tambourine (LOL). She loves to sing Amanda Marshall, Fleetwood Mac or Pat Benatar to name a few.

EQUIPMENT

We have a rehearsal space and more than our share of equipment! ...full sound system, amps, drums, keys, bass, percussion.
