ABOUT

Killing Gingy is like no other band before it - or so we like to think anyway. A new-age alternative rock band, we are influenced by the likes of AC/DC, Big Sugar, Alice In Chains, Slash, the White Stripes, and rad rockers everywhere. Killing Gingy was born from the creative meanderings of Kate Rombough (vocals/guitar) and Joe Matthews (drums) in January, 2010. Our sound finds itself eternally inspired by the most basic elements of rock and roll - a driving beat, memorable melody, and resounding message. Nothing demonstrates this rock tenet better than the songs we have uploaded to our profile, where prophetic and often musing lyrics meet dark and sometimes sinister riffs; and where the melodic intricacies and groove, provided by John Gamache (lead guitar) and Tim Majovski (bass/backing vocals), create the anthem feel that seems to resonate through each of our songs.
