I'm classically trained on the tuba and played it for several years before learning vocal techniques. I picked up the guitar relatively recently and I've made an effort to be comfortable singing and playing at the same time. Most of my experience is with solo acoustic stuff, which means that I haven't spent enough time learning to shred. I'm learning keys, but I'm nowhere near good enough to play them with a group as it stands.

Influences
I'd love to say I was influenced by Rush or Meshuggah or something, but I primarily play acoustic. As much as I love metal, I'm not very good at playing it. I honestly don't know that I'm good enough to have "influences".
