John started playing the drums when he was 10 years old.
His thoughtful and kind cousin lent him a flashy blue sparkle
Ludwig drum set at which time John played endlessly learning
many rock songs from his small collection of 45's (remember those).

John also performed with various drum and bugle corps on the snare drum,
spending his last few years with the Dutch Boy Drum and Bugle Corps based
out of Kitchener, ON. During this time, John worked on his drum set skills while
performing with various rock and stage bands.

John has many years of experience performing with various rock,
progressive rock, blues, country and professional tribute bands.
