My roots are in Classic Rock, Heavy Metal and Blues Rock. I'm looking for like minded musicians close to my age group hopefully but it's not a huge detail, to form a band and eventually gig. I love to play but the true thrill is playing live. One condition I have is that I can't rehearse on weekends. Very rarely maybe but if we have a weekend gig that's a different story. I'm there. I'd be willing to do two nights a week for practice. Some of the songs I'm currently playing are Panama, War Pigs, Purple Haze, The Wind Cries Mary, Fire, Red House, VooDoo Chile', Pride and Joy, Mary Had a Little Lamb, Lenny, Rock n' Roll, Ramble On, Rock This Town, Stray Cat Strut and others. I'd love to cover Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" and maybe some late great Ronnie Montrose like Rock Candy and Bad Motor Scooter. Just to show you I'm a team player you could even talk me into some AC/DC but you're buying the Coronas for that one!!! Wouldn't mind some Metallica maybe.....and as Rush fans are the trekkies of rock I draw the line there...lol. No Rush! Please get in touch.

Influences
Chronologically......The Beatles, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Hendrix, SRV, Stray Cats, Eric Clapton, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy....Goddo...can't forget Goddo. And many, many more! I recently had a chance to play with a guitar hero of mine and Canadian music legend Gino Scarpelli (formerly of Goddo). Gino is a great human being, has great music stories and the tone that comes from that man's fingers.....you can tell he's loved his instrument since the age of 5.
EQUIPMENT
Vox VT100 combo, 2 American Strats, Gretsch Electromatic, Ibanez RG470, Epiphone Les Paul and 2 Washburn acoustics. Effects, wireless. I don't need any more gear. I have my own transportation.
