I am a versatile drummer with 30 years experience. I've played in cover bands and original bands. I write my own material, and also enjoy a collaborative writing experience. I have lots of experience playing multi-night residencies, one-nighters, etc. I've done plenty of studio sessions (working on my own stuff as well as one-offs for various artists that need drum tracks, etc.). I have been playing with a couple of local bands in Calgary, and am looking to play with new pro-level players. Now in my mid-forties, I'm looking for low-stress, fun gigs with competent players... play some tasteful, ambitious covers and also see if we can collaborate on an original or two. Also would love to take something into the studio at some point.

EQUIPMENT
Currently enjoying my Gretsch Catalina Club, 4 piece. I have a reliable Pearl Export, and I always enjoy my Yamaha Stage Custom. I like to keep it simple:
single kick, one tom, one floor tom... my ride nice and close. a splash beside my snare and sometimes an extra dark crash on my right side
