Cam "The Sea" Watson is a guitarist, composer and song writer from Waterloo, Ontario Canada.
Influenced by blues fusion greats such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Larry Carlton, he began playing guitar and composing songs when he was a teenager.
Self-described as a listener's player and not a player's player, his approach to arranging and writing guitar parts for any track is to make sure it contributes melodically and fits naturally into the song rather than trying to impress other guitarists with technical skills. In Cam's words, "Whatever genre I play, I want listeners to hum along to my guitar parts, no matter how simple or complex."
In the studio, Cam has not only demonstrated his consistent ability to create and arrange original guitar parts quickly and efficiently, he also has an excellent ear with all aspects of track arranging as well as the mixing process.
