Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums.

ABOUT

I am looking for other musicians to gig and release music with. I have a bunch of songs written instrumentally on guitar with some ideas for vocals melodies and I am ready to get other musicians to turn them into full songs with band arrangements and start performing them live.

I am a blues-rock guitarist who has versatility in other styles. I have experience being in a cover band with a few original songs and gigging. I have been playing for about 17 or 18 years, with a varying level commitment and dedication during those years. Over the past 1.5 years or so though I have been consistently putting in an average of about 2.5 hours per day of dedicated focused practice.

I have a good ear and knowledge of theory and I know how to serve the song. I understand that coming up with guitar parts that fit what the song needs is far more important than using the song to show off what I can do. I definitely like soloing and I'm good at it, but you won't have to worry about me fitting the lead guitarist stereotype and demanding to have a long solo every song for attention or anything else like that. In music and other areas, I have always been about knowing my role in the group and collaborating with others to get the desired outcome.

Influences

Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page is the biggest influence on me as a guitarist), Radiohead (in particular Ok Computer, In Rainbows and Hail To The Thief), black midi, a bunch of rap artists who I have surely taken stuff from since I listen to almost as much rap as rock, Metallica, Peach Pit, Pink Floyd, The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys (their first 4 albums especially), etc. I can list more but I think you get the idea.
