Influences
started out listening to big band jazz. that is all I knew existed. soon went right to rock, beatles, stones, many others, really started to get heavy when Hendrix hit the scene then Fresh cream, then into king crimson, yes, genesis, Jethro tull, pink Floyd, both English and American rock. used to sleep with the stereo Fm. left on every night. all day long too. had to get a job. then became a fresh air inspector. kept plying all the time. we are into the later 1970,s now. listened to almost everything out there. tried to nail it while playing it. feel learn then copy the style gets me very close to actual notes played. at least the feel is there. and can do most anything at that point. right up to this point I practise a lot. keeping my styles, licks together and always working tuning drums on new kits that I build or buy.

Geeeze, 8,10,12,13x13, 14x14, 16x16, 20x16, 15x6. assorted sabian, zildjian high end cymbals picked for the sounds needed. 10, 12, 14x14, 15x15, 20,16, 14x5.5 thin keller shell kit for recording. cymbals to match any sounds needed. 1964, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, Rogers vintage kits. all sizes and sounds. I collect vintage rogers drums. I am also a drum tech. drum repairs, tweeking weird drums, tuning troubled drums.
