Triggered Response brings you not only music but a movement, not only simple words but a message.
Influenced by the ills of the world around them, they highlight the desperate solutions to the Symptoms of
Society. With driving rhythms, inspiring melodies and moving lyrics, Triggered Response is here to reignite
the rock scene.
Triggered Response are four people who fight for change, four people united by a common cause,
four people who do not sit idly by and watch the world dissolve into nothingness. The group was formed in
2005 and is based in Montréal, Quebec. It is made up of Kayla St. Cartier, Abdiel (D.L.) Friedman, Alan
Pick & Patrick N. Perrin and has maintained the same line-up since formation. In 2006 after a change in
name and goals, they began writing original songs – and formulated the concept which would carry through
until the present: Social responsibility and action.
The group has been attacking the Montréal music scene since. Finishing as semi-finalists in the
Emergenza festival, placing second overall in the Landmark Entertainment Battle of the Bands, have been
interviewed on CKUT Radio McGill, have been picked up to play for touring acts and have been requested
for fund raising events.
In the summer of 2007 a 4 song EP entitled Symptoms of Society was recorded for use as
promotional material. In the summer of 2008, 2 new songs were added and again another 2 in late 2009. The
group continues to be active in composition, recording and live events. Spreading the message with
infectious and addictive music, Triggered Response is on a path of domination.
