Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Electronic Music.

ABOUT

I'm an experienced singer+guitarist looking to find the right musicians for a rock band that will play originals. I am not interested at all in playing in a cover band.

I gravitate toward music with a hard and heavy groove (70s rock, stoner-rock, and grunge), but also frequently going into more calm, psychedelic, territory (Pink Floyd and shoegazer). I am also open to incorporating electronica if the right people can be added to the mix. (For incorporating electronica into rock, my biggest influence is Primal Scream.)

As long as you've got a solid rock groove and enjoy also diving into some slower psychedelic stuff, that should be fine.

Beyond style, I’m looking for people who are easy to get along with, who are creative and technically solid, and who have their own gear. You should be committed to jamming on a regular basis (at least once a week), play gigs occasionally, and do recordings.

Rock n' roll is a very serious past-time for me, but it is not my career. You may not be in the same situation, but hopefully you are of the same mindset.

60s and 70s classic and psychedelic rock... and 90s grunge, stoner and shoegazer.

Specific influences: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Stooges, Motorhead, Hawkwind, Love, Neil Young, AC/DC, The Cult, Pink Floyd, The Cure, Monster Magnet, Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Grand Funk, Swervedriver, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden. Primal Scream, White Zombie.
