ABOUT

The Acoustic Earth Band is my new project! I have been developing for the last 2yrs! I play guitar with NO feel n in my right hand uP to my elbow, due to an accident I had 5 yrs ago now. Which saw me sever 8 tendons 2 nerves & my artery, Damn near killed me 209 stitches later. It's been a real challenge & I'm looking forward now to the future that I can play guitar now! Most know me for JaZz Funky Fusion and Blues on Drums and Bass, and a lil Keys. This band is a mixture of Rock N Blues Jazz & Funk Country, I call "FUNKADELICBLUEJAZZ "and I'm loving it, I have written 45 originals over the last 2yrs, along with figuring out how to play Guitar with NO feeling in my right hand, which came to fruition this spring finally when I started modifying Banjo picks & using them, I also play with just my finger tips as well. So this group is a Fresh Unique Sound, that I look forward to playing out with this year finally! Featured musicians Mr. Cliff Clark On Saxophones, Kris Goodman percussion, I play between my Electric and my Acoustic, And cover Lead Vocal's. NEWEST MEMBERS INCLUDE & COMPLETE THE BAND! DRUM KIT! How about this, Start with Duke Ellington head down to Miles Davis take a turn at Elvin Jones then tony Williams, another right turn a Dave Weckel Drive then a sharp left at Ron Carter, Paul Chambers, Sonny Rollins, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Jacco, Marcus Miller, Mike Stern, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King, BB King, Santana, Rob Thomas, Wilson picket, James Brown, George Jones Johnny , I'm influenced pretty much from all Directions and love all kinds of music, Let's put it this way If You can sing it? Dance to it? I like it! Being open to all styles of music is just the way I was brought uP and Trained! Locally I have been very fortunate to make a couple of trips to the Juno's WCMA Aboriginal Music Awards.. Also had some of my Original Jazz tunes featured on a DYI album 2007... ect.. With some very talented Musicians! Now, It's My turn!

EQUIPMENT

Fender Guitar and Fender Champ Amp, Takamine Acoustic, Ibannez 4 string Bass, Hartkie Cabinet with a Mark II Bass Head. My endorsement drum kit is a gorgeous 7peice Set of Epek Drums made in Regina Sask, I was the first to use them out in Central Canada, Have a full P.A Yamaha emx 3000. I use a simple M-audio Box for my recording/demoing.
