SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
I've been woodshedding bass guitar for about 18 months and I'm ready to start playing out with other musicians. I can read music, both standard notation and tabs.
I'm looking for a band to join where I'll have a little time to get up to speed. Many years ago I played percussion at a fairly high level, so, I'm not starting from scratch. Complicated rhythms and time signatures do not scare me, and I'm open to trying a variety of genres from Country to Doom, though I do prefer Americana / Classic Rock generally. I want to play some real music with real people. I've started going to some local open mic jams, maybe I'll see you at one. I would like a partner to work up a duet and try performing a song or three at an open mic, so if that interests you please let me know.
I can be reached at AricBjorn at GM.a,il if you have any questions.
