Hey All!
My names Tegan, I’m 25 years old and am looking to join / start a band with experienced, likeminded musicians!
I have over 10 years of experience on guitar, bass, lead vocals as well as being an intermediate on the drums. I have a good amount of experience on recording & mixing music and am confident in my fronting abilities when performing live. I would like to find people that share similar ambitions and tastes in music - some of my inspirations are Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Mac Demarco, lots of Classic rock, Alternative - generic red flag music etc but expands further into other genres.
I’ve played many venues in Edmonton for over 4 years or so; I’m currently in another band at the moment called bedtracks, but recent developments means we may not be playing as much anymore. I also have my own rehearsal space / recording area (dads basement so nothing too crazy, but still gets the job done)
For gear, I use a ‘68 Custom Fender Twin Reverb with a BOSS ME-80 multi fx pedal and have an sE v7 for vox. For recording, I have a PreSonus studio 1824c and typically mic guitars with just a 57. My condenser mic is an SP C1, and for drums I have some OK (ish) mics off of Amazon. For my DAW I use GarageBand (yes I am aware of the stereotypes lol) but I’ve managed to have optimized it the best I can.
Preferences:
I do ask that all inquiries are from musicians with either stage experience, are of a relatively similar age, or are confident in their abilities to put on a bloody good show. I would prefer to front & play rhythm guitar, however this is not a dealbreaker, I'm an easy going guy that is more than capable of leaving his ego at the door.
