Welcome to our band “Short Circuit” – BandMix Site

We would like to tell you a bit about our Rock / Blues Classic Cover band. Tony & myself have been playing music for many decades and we come from the era of music where some of the greatest bands and music of all time were once prevalent, the late 1960’s, 70’s. Where the Blues music was interjected into the new Rock scene and magic began to happen. Many or most of those bands are now long gone, but their music lives on, and our duo “Short Circuit” was proud to be able to play some of these great tunes, but alas nothing lasts forever and now with my good friend Tony moving away to his new retirement location "Short Circuit" has finally come to an end.

On this BandMix profile we have many examples of our recordings of popular cover tunes so you can hear what we sounded like, old school way recording methods “one take” what you hear is what you get. Having said this, we used a multi track recorder and we create tracks for each part on a separate track then it is mixed down to a “master track” which is what is posted here, again just like it was done back in the good ol’ days.

Our band had taken many different forms over the years, members came and left, and in the end it was just Tony & myself. I'd like to say thanks to Tony for all of these years (30) that we shared our love of music, and wish him all the best in his new home.
