I've played music for a number of years. Presently I am playing with some local musicians originally from Africa. We released 2 albums and did some touring in Western Canada. In Calgary, we opened up for Common. I have a number of projects going on as most musicians have. Currently I am playing tenor sax for the University of Winnipeg downtown jazz band. It's a big band, community based you might say. We have some problems finding trumpet and trombone players. This essentially is the reason for my applying to Bandmix. We are looking for brass players who want to keep their chops up, playing in a big band. Are you a graduate from a school band program, or someone who wants to get back into playing. This would be a good opportunity to meet some players and get back into playing.
