SEEKING
Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano.ABOUT
I'm looking for a few blues-loving musicians to put together a tight, blues-focused band that will get together to practice a couple of times a week with a goal to playing the odd gig here and there. I'm a pretty decent player, but my voice has sadly seen better days, although I can still carry a tune pretty well. I'm retired, I don't smoke dope (although I like a cold beer now and again) and I don't care if my band mates are black, white, yellow, or purple, male, female or pick your title, gay, straight, bi or whatever, young old or in between, so long as they love the blues. I’ve found a vocalist, a drummer, a bass player and a harp player and I’d like to fill out the band with keyboards and some brass. And maybe another guitarist if we're copacetic.
I'm relatively new to Vancouver and I don't have a lot of musical contacts, so I'm hoping this venue will help me get more in touch with some like-minded musicians.
