For the past five years I have been rehabilitating an injury that forced me to stop playing for a period of time. I have been working hard and things are improving steadily.

At this stage I’m interested in being part of a practice band type of situation to regain my comfort playing with other
musicians, however I’m open to eventually doing gigs again too.

Previously I was playing in a three piece rock/blues trio and performed local gigs a couple of times per month, with regular practices in between.

My mindset when playing with a band is to best serve the song, and to not overplay.

Update: I’ve hooked up with a guitar player and we’re looking to add bass and more. Contact me if you’re interested.

As far as bands go, my influences are all over the map and too numerous to list. I really do appreciate the best in most genres.
As far as specific musicians go, again there are many but I do have a favourite. The drumming of Gavin Harrison incorporates timing, feel, dynamics and creativity that ticks all the boxes for me. Although I could never hope to play at a level anywhere near to his, I strive on a more basic level to improve all of these aspects of my own playing.
