ABOUT

Hi, guitarist here looking to jam with people who hopefully have similar interests in music. I'm not a trained guitarist and can't tell you what Dsus9 vs D7 is! But I consider myself decent enough to play for fun. I also write a bunch of songs, but i cant sing so would be nice to add vocals and other instruments.

I tend to gravitate towards more songs/bands that have a certain melancholy yet melodic elements....think Radiohead, Devotchka (little miss sunshine), Broken Social Scene, The stars, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Strokes , the Cure. My ideal scenario is to play with a violinist and/or vocalist.

Give you an idea of songs i love playing: Radiohead (Airbag, Paranoid Android, Idioteque, Videotape), Broken Social Scene and Stars (all!), the Cure (close to me), Yeah Yeah yeahs (Maps), Arcade Fire (most)....Things I dont really play - Foo fighters, Green Day, Blink 182, Offspring , classic rock, blues, that kind of stuff
