SEEKING bass OR guitar player for established Toronto-based hardcore punk band.
Looking for a motivated individual who is willing to contribute musically, writing riffs and songs or at least contributing complementary parts and fills. Backup and/or shared vocals is a plus, but not required. Weekly rehearsals (Friday evenings), typically playing 1-2 shows per month.
Wanting to get back to the fuller 4-piece sound we had up until a couple of years ago. Currently operating as a 3-piece, with a bass player who is willing to switch over to guitar (depending on how the search plays out). Heavily influenced by 80s era hardcore punk, playing and writing songs that incorporate different levels of technicality, abrupt starts and stops, and a mix of tempo changes, with vocals tending to lean toward the melodic side. We're all about having fun and playing the music we love, without taking our sound and musical content lightly. Drummer and vocalist/guitarist have been playing together since the early 90s.
