I am working and staying in Toronto. Looking to join a 'ready to go' band to do covers 'with a twist' and play casual places (Blues, Jazz and relaxed venue). would like to work with vocalist most of all. I play Guitar to a decent level and I am a very solid bass player (most styles). I play keyboard / piano to an OK level and have just enough courage to summon up a backing vocal.
I am a decent songwriter and have just written and recorded an album with my band in the UK although I am looking to do something a bit more relaxed in Toronto

Influences
My influences are classic UK Indie, Manchester bands and Rock Music (Smiths, Echo & the Bunneymen,The Jam, XTC, Bowie, Elbow, Stones Roses, Super Furry Animals, Ed Harcourt) but also love American bands such as the Pixies, Talking Heads, John Grant, Father John Misty, Here We Go Magic, Steely Dan. On top of this I love old school Hip Hop (Del La Soul et al), SKA and accessible Jazz/Groove music (such Gill Scott Heron, Crusaders and Rare Groove music)
