ABOUT

HookJoy is looking for a bass player who is versatile in all styles of music and can play, blues rock, funk & jazz music. If you can read music that will be a bonus, but it's not a necessity. We are an easy going group of individuals looking to have fun and make some money at the same time. If you are into jamming and long improvised solos this could the band for you. The repertoire will consist of cover songs and some originals. Some of the songs will be standard blues and classic rock songs and a few funk jazz fusion instrumentals. This was a gigging band and I'm looking to start that up again, once we have the full set list down. I also have a singer that is involved with the project. We rehearse in Vaughan at the Sound Music Rehearsal Studios or sometimes at Jam Chamber in North York.
