Primarily a bassist. Background in throwback prog, but I keep the wank in check pretty well. Definitely into playing stuff that's musically interesting (counterpoint, janky rhythms, weird chords) but not at the expense of songwriting & melody. I don't slap, and seldom tap, but I do play fretless pretty much exclusively (I just love the "mwah").
I get by with my ears, but I like tabs for parts when possible.
No car currently. No amp either, as I've been out of live bands for a while, but happy to have an excuse to pick one up. (Never was much of a gear collector, and had a bit of a fire a couple years ago, so yknow)
