Influences
Musical influences include the community where I was born and raised and the songs I learned from those around me while growing up: relatives, friends, teachers. Also, local folk singers in and around Newcastle-upon-Tyne from the 1950's to the present day. More renowned musical influences include Richard Thompson, Ewan MacColl, The Dubliners, Kinks, Beatles, Beach Boys, Dylan, Woody Guthrie and Huddie Ledbetter.
