Lead Guitar, Violin, Background Singer, Other, Fiddle, Cello.

The Wrong Johnsons are looking just the right person to turn ...wrong. The Sound Cloud recordings below were live-off-the-floor and are still more or less representative of what we do, minus a few banjo tunes. As you'll see from the pics we're not kids. We've all played with other bands over the years. (We're also a little overeducated, but in a good way.) We gig locally and attract decent crowds. At the same time, we have day jobs and are not looking to tour. It's all about playing music, and ours is all original. We've recently lost our lead guitar player and violin/vocals guy for health reasons.

We're looking for an experienced lead guitar player who has some chops and can bring something to the band. We're also interested in someone who can handle the harmony parts. This could be the guitar player or potentially someone who sings and plays something else. Mando? Banjo? Violin? We are open to suggestions.

We're pretty ADD. My son tells me we sound like a distorted 70s band. Love child of Tom Petty, They Might be Giants, Dave Matthews, and Lucinda Williams? I guess we take pride in not being easily classified.

We've got a decent rehearsal space. For what it's worth, I play a very pretty Tele Thinline Elite.
