ABOUT

We are Forsaken Rite, a folk metal band hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. We bring songs of great battles fought, wisdom of our ancestors, drinks, dangerous beasts and epic adventure.

We're in the process of creating new music, with an updated line-up. We already have a main vocalist (unannounced yet), looking for a guitar player that can also perform backing vocals.

This is our 10th year as a band, and as such we've played many shows, festivals (Loud as Hell, Armstrong, Metalocalypstick, as well as many local fests), mini tours, and a tour of Canada (from Lone Butte, BC to Montreal, QC). We've opened for many larger acts, including such acts as The Agonist, Hybria.
We are prepping to record a single in September and an EP early in 2024, and we're looking to get someone professional soon.

Gender and age are not an issue, however, you must be at least 18 years of age.

We're a very easy going, professional band.
