Hi, I'm looking for a bassist, drummer, guitarist and maybe potentially a singer to play "Swing Metal" - a type of groove metal combining jazz, blues and latin elements, while remaining heavy.
I've got a bunch of songs written and scored, but I need people to not only play them but expand on them and make them better.
The concept of the band and overall marketing aspect has been figured out too, it's a project called "Dusk Ellington" that borrows heavily from the 1930's cartoons for its image [think "The Skeleton Dance" from Silly Symphonies or the 'spooky' stuff by the Fleischer Brothers]
