Jamaican born, Toronto raised Matic is a dj with a story to share. His creative direction is influenced by using word play to captivate his audience. The passion behind his craft arose from his cultural exposure to music. His naturally competitive nature as a child motivated his desire to not only collect music but always stay on top whats new to the scene.
He initially started out by participating in a couple of local dj programs to expand his craft. THE SUMMER OF 2010 MATIC GOT HIS BIG BREAK WHEN ASKED TO SPIN IN ONE OF TORONTOS LARGEST CLUBS. Government nightclub opened multiple doors & allowed Matic to play both locally & internationally. His gigs varied across numerous states where he not only opened but also played alongside a couple of well known djs. He devoted his efforts into perfecting his artistry & as a result this increased his overall passion for music.
Matic has imprinted his capability to master word play while on set, whether it be at weddings, concerts, corporate events &/or radio shows. His stylistic choices are geared towards hits & highlights based on the thorough research conducted prior to spinning. The appraisel received from his audience encourages his growth within, focusing on perfecting his craft.
