M.O.R. Dance Band - repertoire geared to 1/2 Rock, 1/2 Ballroom. Looking for band members interested in performing Ballroom Dance Music with a big band flavour. With the right music, much $ can be made with little effort with aim to the over 50 crowd (they’re the ones with the money, honey) With only 60 tight tunes, a CD sample, or streaming services sent with follow-up to dance studios and set up a hall, I'm sure will attract 250 couples and charge $5.00 per head for the music, $10 a head for mid-event snack-food. For maximum performance success, you gotta love the music and know the beats (waltz, polka, rhumba, samba, tango, beguine, swing/jive/twist, cha-cha, good ole' R & R, and specialty songs like chicken dance, etc. If not the music, love the applause you're going to get. If not the applause, love the $ you're going to get! I have seen far too many fine dancers, at a function featuring same crappy and boring DJ music that sucks the energy right out of the room; these motivated dance couples wish for a live band playing fine music in custom performance instead of a same old, same old, DJ delivered, overpriced monotony using unemotional recordings. The Delicados is dedicated to rekindling the forgotten music that inspires and celebrates harmony and love.
