ABOUT

80s NEW WAVE KEYBOARDIST WANTED IN AROUND KW AREA

We are a very solid 4 piece pro band(including 2 founding members of Smile N’ Wave)(Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Bass, Drums)

Seeking an experienced Female or Male Keyboardist/Synth Player(Strong Vocals or additional instruments a huge asset) to join and expand the song choices we are currently working.

Band is based in around the KW/ Cambridge area(Band Rehearses in Guelph and performs 2 Saturdays per month anywhere from Burlington to Sarnia(weather based).

We are looking for the following…

1. Available to perform most Saturday Nights(we usually stick to 2 per month)and rehearsal every 5 weeks in an hourly room in Guelph.
2. Being okay working with the band in rehearsals to catch up and finally join us in our 2026 bookings(We’re currently booked from March to November in cities such as London, Guelph, Milton, Burlington, etc.)
3. Top gear(or highly effective with what you have) and your own reliable wheels(Band owns a great pa but everyone supplies their own monitor and mic)
4. A good understanding of the technical side of keyboards including the odd sequence programming(example - You Spin Me Round)
5. Cool Image and Dressing up 80s a must

Our way of doing it everyone learns batches of 10 songs at home and brings them in 95 percent finished so we can put things together in a Sunday afternoon rehearsal.

Current sets are a little on the guitar heavy 80s new wave side(The Clash, etc) but once keyboards are secured we can open it up to the following exciting examples below..
