I have been greatly influenced by Les Claypool and his associate musicians, as well as the masters themselves, TOOL. Tom Morello was always inspirational to me as well, and I think these musicians have helped me define my sound. I am a gear head for sure and enjoy getting great sound and experimenting with stereo and an AB box. I write a lot of riffs and chord work, and structure songs together, but have always been a mediocre lyricist. Ultimately I want to start a band from the ground up and write music as a collective, which I believe is what every one of my musical influences have achieved.
