WANTED: musicians for jamming, networking and seeing where it goes. or, an almost complete band looking for a singer/songwriter that already knows where they're going.

I've been a dedicated musician and writer for over 40 years and going strong.

I play guitars and sing, plus I play and program keyboards and drums as needed when recording. I write, record and sell original music. I also learn, play and perform eclectic sets of covers (not tributes) for live shows.

Desmond Grundy writes and plays hooky guitar songs structured in the musical styles of the British Rock invasion and Americana. His work is original. The songs are singular. Each tune is a distinct work and his live show is ambitious.

The vocals, lyrics and rhythm guitars evoke themes both current and historical. Grundy grew into his musical style playing rhythm guitar in a working man’s band as a teenager. The local bars and legions with all their smoky, boozy, steel- cut grit, informed his point of view.

Grundy’s song writing and recording activities have generated four well-reviewed albums, two EPs, a handful of singles, thousands of song streams and a popular following on web radio. His live shows of rock music covers (1962-1992)(1992- 2022) and originals delivers fresh and often surprising entertainment from classic genres to modern weirdness.
