ABOUT

I've been playing since I can remember. I started with the formal Royal Conservatory lessons and went all the way with that; but then I discovered progrock, metal and punk by the time I was a teenager. I have cousins who were jazz pianists, so I always heard a lot of jazz too and began to dabble in that.

I know I've listed a large number of "influences", but I do listen to music constantly and I'm always looking for new bands to listen to. I don't like to get bored with music, so I never put stations like Q107 on...

I'd be interested in any band that thinks "prog" belongs somewhere in their description, it could be rock, metal, or folk, and I might be up the challenge of jazz too, depending on the style. I'm looking for a band that wants to be serious about gigging and recording original material, though I'm not adverse to playing some covers, especially at the beginning to pad the set list. Cheers!
