ABOUT

Chad Lodge was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up on acreage just outside the small town of Alberta Beach.
In 1994 Chad started surprising people with his amazing voice. By the age of 17 he was starting to live his dream as a country music singer by playing for school fashion shows, talent contests, music festivals and small town country music jamborees.
In 2002 Chad and his band Laredo were invited to play at one of Canada’s biggest country music festivals, Big Valley Jamboree. In 2003 Chad and his band were invited back to play in the beer gardens, where they performed to a crowd of over 18,ooo country music fans.
As well as to playing at Big Valley Jamboree, Chad has played in Canmore, Alberta for their annual Canmore Highland Games, where he performed with the Edmonton & District Pipe Band. By the end of the show he had the crowd screaming for him to stay on stage and play. Chad really knows how to put on a show and keep the fans entertained. J. C Lollian from Clyde, Alberta quotes “Chad Lodge came on stage and stole the show, What a voice – true and powerful, awesome, the best that I have heard”, “The band with pipers was the phenomenal. The total package to me was the highlight of the night”.
On November 23, 2006 Chad had the honored privilege of playing at the Winspear Center for the event “Voices for the Hospice”. He performed his new single “Are You Lonesome” which was then followed by Waly – Waly (a 17th century song); Chad had the Edmonton Pipe Band accompany him with this song. He left the audience in awe by the way he performed these two songs.
Just shortly after performing at Big Valley Jamboree in 2003, Chad went to Brain Dead Studios his first demo “I Don’t want To”. On September 16, 2006, Chad went into Epic Sound Studio to record his new single “Are You Lonesome”.
Currently Chad is working with a new management company (Sundown Entertainment). He is busy writing new material for his new album and upcoming shows in 2010. Right now Chad is also working on putting together a charity event for children. While Chad is on his way to success he works hard on his music and his performances, so he can give the fans a performance they deserve. Chad’s heart always has and always will belong to his love of music and to keeping his fans entertained for years to come.
