After traveling from a distant galaxy light years away, we have been revived from suspended animation in Ottawa (?) to reform “THE EVERLASTIN’ YEAHS” (copyright), a gigging 60's cover band. Were you there but REMEMBER EVERYTHING? We are looking for kindred spirits in the forms of: a lead singer; a good guitarist who sings; a keyboardist who sings.

We are a lead guitarist, a bassist and a drummer.

IF you are easy going, can keep a commitment, mutually respectful, gracious about the gift of music, tend to have a creative rather than a literal approach, know the sound of one hand clapping, and yet refuse to say “groovy”, you've come to the right place!

We'd like to do one hit wonder garage songs, tunes from the "Ottawa Rocks" compilation, Kinks, Buffalo Springfield, Moby Grape, Byrds, early Rolling Stones, pre "Tommy" Who, Doors, Animals, Rascals, Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge, Ugly Ducklings, Shadows of Knight, Paul Revere & the Raiders (eh!?), Lovin' Spoonful etc., maybe some R & B (Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter etc.) .... and any 60’s songs you want to try. We are open! Let’s get off THE BEATEN TRACK while we still can!

We'll practice at least once a week, maybe more (depending on who is in the band) and may have to share the cost of practice space.

Please no BIG EGOS, bad hygiene, attitude, etc. We want this to work and have fun doing it! Contact Brian at brianharryanderson@rogers.com and tell us why you think you might fit!
