I'd love to write some jazzy funk songs that go hard with a trio with either flute, drums, keys or guitar and me on bass.

I've been playing on and of since I was a kid, right now I'm focusing on musical theory as its something I somewhat avoided as I always played by ear.

Influences

I love mixing funk and rock together (Like many, Flea got me into bass) but I also love classical and jazz.

Ideally, I'd like to play in a band that has roots in funk but isn't afraid to go hard.
