We are an all-original post-prog band, currently consisting of Drums, Bass and Guitar.
We are currently in the later stages of writing a handful of tracks for an album/EP. Tweaking, arranging, etc.
Recently, our second guitarist had to step away for personal reasons, so we're looking to perhaps explore a more open sound with keys instead.
With that, we are looking for someone who can add a synthetic but emotive element.
Cinematic, foreboding, etc.
Would need to be able to do all of this live. As we don't want to rely on clicks and tracks fed into our ears.
Piano/Organ/Synthesizer/sampling/etc.
An Electronic element in general
Mainly for creating ambient soundscapes, hyping up choruses, fattening overall sound.etc.
With all members we would require a working knowledge of music theory. Especially rhythm theory(odd time, poly-rhythm/meter, accenting). Intervals, Modes, etc.
As much of our music changes time signature quite often.
Though it's not *that* important, preferred age range between 30-45.
