Hi,
I'm a 47year old dad, about to relocate to the Yarmouth, NS area from the US. I've played acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and bass for around 35 years, performing for over 25 years in multiple bands as well as church worship bands.
I'm hoping to find some warm and welcoming folks who are looking for me.I am someone who can fill multiple roles, show up reliably on time and well-rehearsed, and also be a good person to communicate with, and make music with. Few things in life give me greater joy than playing music with good people.
I have pro level gear; I'm currently flexible on styles and calendar commitments; I need a job when we arrive. I do have a wife and 3 kids but they are all teens+ so can be left alone for an evening.

Influences
so many. I'll try to name a wide range.
Lots of classic rock like Tom Petty or Led Zeppelin or GNR
Lots of 90s rock/alternative/grunge like Nirvana or Sunny Day Real Estate
post-rock-y stuff like GYBE or Swans
Love lots of metal. Haven't played it in a long time.
Definitely into folky stuff, acoustic indie stuff, covers, weird experimental stuff.

EQUIPMENT
Main electric is a Fender American deluxe from 2006. I have a few other electrics as well.
Main acoustic is a Taylor 801ce from 2006, with a GS Mini as well.
Bass is a Sterling Stingray 4 string.
I have performed on all my instruments running through a Line 6 PodGo and a Headrush 108 powered speaker. I usually use the speaker for my own monitor and run my signal XLR to the board.
I can work with many different needs for projects. I am open to a recurring paying gig in a band, certainly. I am also open to collaborate for new/existing projects.
Let's talk and see if we connect in a creative way.
