ABOUT

We are Undead Reverie, a Winnipeg-based doom metal band seeking a drummer.

Formed in 2024 from the remnants of the now disbanded Dead Reverie (Winnipeg), we are two 40's+ dudes looking for like-minded metal musicians to get this thing out of the basement and onto the stage. We primarily play and record original music.

Influences

The doom and metal genre as a whole, hailing back to our forefathers Black Sabbath. Think slower tempos, thick atmosphere and crushing wall of sound. We incorporate elements from traditional and old school grooves, to modern extreme forms of metal.

Black Sabbath, Acid Bath, Bell Witch, Bongripper, Electric Wizard, Frowning, Mournful Congregation, Om, Ophis, Pentagram, Sleep, The Howling Void, The Sword, Thou, Windhand, etc.

Our progressive and old school influences include Butthole Surfers, Dream Theater, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Mastadon, Metallica, Opeth, Pink Floyd, Rush, Steve Wilson/Porcupine Tree, The Beatles, The Ocean, Tool, Yes, etc. although we tend to stay away from faster tempos.

Darrell - guitar and vocals. Mike - bass and keys.

Between the two of us we've got guitar, bass and vocals covered for now, but we really need a drummer. We’re open to adding more members in the future, such as keys or a vocalist.
