My name is Tyler, I just moved into the Guelph area and am looking to jam, play some gigs and beyond. I am predominantly a bass player and am great with improvisation and keeping up with jams and new songs. I'm 24 years old and have been playing various styles with different bands since I was 15. I can read music and familiar with most theory. I also consider myself a songwriter but am more interested in playing other people's music. Huge on playing live music, when a crowd is into what you are playing there is nothing in the world that feels so good.

Influences
I listen to everything from jazz to old school metal to folk and indie. Bass-wise I learned through Iron Maiden, Jazz standards, Mr. Big, catch-22, toots and the maytals, rancid, and really anything I've gotten into over the years. Acoustic guitar wise I am a fan of playing things like Iron and wine, Neil young and like to try to cover songs out of genre.
