ABOUT
30+ years playing, hundreds of gigs, mainly blues, country and country rock. Would like to play the tunes I've always loved, with good local (and mature) musicians who like to 'cook'. Blues-based tunes mainly, with a smattering of swing, southern rock, new country and latin-influenced rock. Limited gigging, eg 1 or 2 gigs a month at most.
I play lead and rhythm guitar, and finger-style acoustic, and there are few popular styles I haven't played, with the exception of jazz, which doesn't float my boat much although I admire the complexity and skill demonstrated. I can also do some lead vocals, and am no stranger to backup vocals and harmonizing. I have a strong working knowledge of music and am able to communicate.
