My solo and band gigs draw from the best of bluegrass, jazz, country and pop rock - with song selections of broad appeal to a general audience. I also write and perform original songs.
I am specifically looking for a female stage partner for duo and full band gigs. I prefer the flexibility that mixed gender vocals offer for harmonies and song rotation.
My perfect stage partner doesn't have to be "perfect" - but good character is important to me; open; authentic; flexible; collaborative; and generally reliable. Dedicated enough to invest in individual practise and group rehearsal as required to ring in a solid public performance.
My wishlist is:
* mid 30s-ish in look, voice and spirit;
* well rounded generalist with solid performance level capability;
* diverse genre interests;
* fiddle skill sufficient to learn and play bluegrass standards and create or improvise country genre fills;
* singer - songwriter with some examples of original music;
* acoustic guitar rhythm skill sufficient to lead your songs;

Influences
I am more song than artist oriented but here are some examples of artists I enjoy:
Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Elvis, Everly Brothers, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Mellencamp; CCR, many 80s Hair Metal Bands ;) ACDC, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Gordon Lightfoot, Eva Cassidy.
There are numerous modern songs and artists I also enjoy. Michael Buble, Avril Lavigne, Zac Brown Band.
